With this is Marketing Academy business series, we want to introduce you to our 5 step approach. Sometimes it will take a few videos to get through one approach. The first approach is Digital Marketing and SEO. It’s called Digital Marketing because there’s a lot more to it then just marketing on the internet. Technology has grown and continues to grow, it actually covers all forms of digital media. Traditionally, when people think of Internet marketing, they basically think of PPC (Pay Per Click) ads and SEO (Search Engine Optimization), but there is so much more to be considered and more that needs to be done. There are banner ads, graphic ads, CRMs (Customer Relation Managers) and other marketing tools that can be brought into play — Hubspot, Basecamp, etc. It’s more than Internet Marketing. Yes, there are paid ads and using paid ads to support SEO, but there is also Social Media Marketing, Email Campaigns, Live Video, Webinars… if it happens through a screen, it is in the realm of Digital Marketing. It’s about the entire digital landscape. If you are really new to this, you may be feeling like you are drowning in information. You may feel overwhelmed, but please stay with me. We want to help you understand because it is SO important that you do. This is your company, your baby, and we really want to help you be successful. I’m going to break it down for you.
